Barcelona are preparing a fresh bid for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho after reports emerged in recent weeks about a rift between Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and the Brazilian midfielder, according to ESPN FC.
Barcelona made great efforts during the summer transfer window to lure Coutinho to Catalonia but the Blaugrana couldn’t convince the Brazilian’s employers, Liverpool, to sell their best player before finally giving up on the chase.
However, it looks like Barcelona will indeed land the services of Coutinho as recent reports suggest that the Liverpool hierarchy are considering selling the midfielder, only three months after the summer transfer window.
This new stance from the Reds is believed to be as a result of a recent disagreement between manager Jurgen Klopp and Coutinho, which has raised questions over the commitment of the Brazilian at Liverpool.
If this fracture of relation persists then it might result in Liverpool letting go of Coutinho to ensure that there is no negative impact in the harmony of the squad.
