PSG star Neymar is reportedly attempting to convince Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho to join the French giants.
The Brazilian international had wished to leave Anfield during the summer and handed in a transfer request in order to force through a move to Barcelona. The Spanish giants had three bids rejected for the 25 year old, the latest said to be worth £114 million.
Le 10 Sport have however said that Neymar is trying to ruin his former club’s chances of signing Coutinho by persuading his fellow countryman to join him at the cash-rich French giants.
The reports come in just days after Coutinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian was spotted speaking to PSG Sporting director Antero Henrique.
PSG do certainly have the funds that are required to swoop for Coutinho. It remains to be seen which club he will end up joining.
The chances of him leaving Anfield are certainly high and the prospect of playing alongside Neymar could be enticing.
