Newcastle United are reportedly said to have launched an enquiry for Liverpool’s forgotten forward Danny Ings, according to Bleacher Report.
Newcastle have been looking to sign a new striker to address to their goal scoring problems this season and they have are said to have identified Danny Ings and Cenk Tosun as their top two targets in JAnuary.
Both the players are known to be prolific goal scorers but it might be more realistic for the Magpies to sign Ings, who is currently out-of-favor at Liverpool.
Ings moved from Burnley to Ainfield in 2016 but has failed to impose himself as a regular at Merseyside and now finds him rarely making into the first team at Liverpool.
As a result a move to Newcastle will definitely be in best interest of Ings as he will look to revive his career after his recent failures.
