Liverpool reportedly identify 2-time Champions League winner as replacement for underperforming duo

Having both failed to convince Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp thus far, the Anfield outfit are said to be lining up a replacement for goalkeeping duo Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius in Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas.

The Belgian and German have shared goalkeeping duties since the beginning of last season, but none has been impressive enough, with many errors leading to goal between them.

The Reds see Navas as the perfect man to bring out of the best in the pair, and will attempt to lure him to Merseyside next summer.

Despite helping Los Blancos to victories in the last 2 Champions League campaigns, Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez is still not a firm believer in the Costa Rican’s abilities.

He is eyeing one of Manchester United’s David de Gea and AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma as his next Galatico, and should a move work out for either, Navas will be left with no choice than to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

That could provide Liverpool with the best shot and chance to land their man, and with his experience and incredible talents, he is definitely going to be a great addition and help strengthen their weak rearguard.
