According to a report published by the Evening Standard, West Ham manager Slaven Bilic may have to make do without up to three key defenders for his sides Premier League game against Liverpool this weekend.
Winston Reid missed this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace due to a calf injury while James Collins has an ankle injury. Jose Fonte meanwhile is also a doubt for the game after suffering an injury and having to be substituted during the Palace game.
This means that Bilic may have to utilize Angelo Ogbonna and the inexperienced Declan Rice, which is not an ideal situation.
Liverpool have a clinical attack with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho all in their side, and they could do damage if the Hammers defence are not on point.
Bilic will also be aware that should his side lose against Liverpool, the calls for him to be sacked will only get louder.
