West Ham failed to capitalize on a 2-goal first-half lead against Crystal Palace on Saturday, with the hosts eventually completing a comeback to further heap further woes on the Hammers.
Manager Slaven Bilic’s job seems to be safe for now as he won and drew 1 apiece of the 2-game lifeline the club reportedly handed him.
However, some West Ham fans still want the Croat fired, prompting former midfielder Don Hutchison to leap to his defence on Twitter.
The former midfielder tweeted: “Don’t see how West Ham’s want Slaven out! D Sullivan gave him two game. Won 1 Drew 1. By the way the players need to do more!”

Hutchison further buttressed the last point of the tweet in another one, pointing the fingers at a trio he believes should be held responsible for the weekend’s draw.
The ex-Scotland international quickly replied his earlier post: “How’s is Bilic fault when Zaba (2 penalty’s) ogbonna Pen,and Antonio (strongest man in the world, can’t keep the ball for 20seconds ?”

The Hammers were a complete opposite of themselves in the 2nd half of the clash, and their lack of consistency could cost the manager his job.
West Ham play Liverpool, Watford, Leicester City and Everton next, before facing Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal, and should things not change before all 7 games are played, Bilic might be long gone.
