West Ham captain Mark Noble has slammed the attitude of Yohan Cabaye during the aftermath of his sides 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace during the weekend. The Hammers went into half time of the match with a 2-0 lead following goals from Javier Hernandez and Andre Ayew.
They however managed to squander this following a goal from Luka Milivojevic from the spot as well as a late strike from Wilfried Zaha. The result left Noble frustrated and after the game he had to be pulled away from Cabaye, who reportedly refused to shake his hand.
Noble has since spoken out about the incident and claimed that the French international has an attitude problem. He said: “I have played 400 and something games for this club and I’ve had many battles with many players.
“I’ve always thought you can have 90 minutes of a battle, you can kick sh*t out of each other really, but you always shake hands with each other after. That’s my point of view. It was his attitude. I didn’t really like his attitude. That’s why I had something to say.
“If I’m honest I wasn’t happy how he went about things and as I’ve said you battle with many players over the years but afterwards you always look each other in the eye and shake hands.”
