Christiansen highlights four factors that made Leeds suffer 5th Championship loss

Leeds have been far from convincing in recent weeks, losing 5 of their last 7 Championship fixtures.

Friday’s 2-1 loss to Sheffield United was their 5th of what was earlier a very promising campaign, and manager Thomas Christiansen is concerned about different aspects of his players’ games.

The Whites were stunned with a 2nd minute goal from the Blades before getting back into the game with an equalizer early in the 2nd period.

However, a late goal from the visitors ensured they left with all 3 points, and the boss claimed it was because Leeds were too hectic, lost possession, failed to take control of proceedings and lacked patience in their buildups.

The Whites play at home again in their next game – versus Derby, and will have to work on their weaknesses and lapses if they are to have a chance against a fellow Premier League-chasing side.

The Rams are unbeaten in their last 6 games and have only lost thrice this term.

A loss would see Leeds drop off the playoff spots, and that could deal a huge blow on their promotion ambitions going forward.
