Bayern Munich star names the Celtic star that could cause them problems

Celtic vs Hearts

Celtic host Bayern Munich when Champions League action resumes on Tuesday, and despite being clear favourites, the Germans are not underrating the Scottish giants.

The Hoops have often stunned European giants at home, and can produce a shocker off the back of their 61-games unbeaten domestic run.

Munich star midfielder James Rodriguez believes his side will have to properly contain Moussa Dembele if they are to emerge victorious at Parkhead.

The Colombian told the German press of the French striker after weekend’s Bundesliga victory over RB Leipzig: “For us to avoid any problems against Celtic in Glasgow, we have to stop him.

“We know that Bayern are superior to Celtic but we have to demonstrate that on the pitch next Tuesday.

“It won’t be an easy match for us and the result of the first game doesn’t matter now. I expect a tough match in Scotland because Celtic will want revenge.

“But our objective is to win and it’s necessary for us to fight for first position in the table.”

Dembele has been in superb form since returning to full fitness following an hamstring blow since the start of the campaign, scoring 4 goals in his last 2 games for Celtic.

He was unable to start against Bayern at the Allianz Arena due to his fitness concerns, but could get the nod ahead of Leigh Griffiths on Tuesday.

French giants PSG top Group B with 9 points, Bayern and Celtic are behind on 6 and 3 points respectively, while Anderlecht are without a point.

A win for Celtic will boost their hopes of a spot in the round of 16, and should Dembele come to the party, the hosts could be celebrating a famous victory after 90 minutes.
