Celtic secured a narrow 1-nil win over Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg during the first leg of their Europa League last-32 round on Thursday night, and now have a great advantage ahead of the return leg.
Callum McGregor’s 2nd half strike was enough to hand Brendan Rodgers’ men the vital victory, but he wasn’t the only man that impressed against the visitors.
According to the Bhoys’ former striker Chris Sutton, the quartet of Moussa Dembele, Scott Brown, Kristoffer Ajer and Jozo Simunovic also brought their A-games.

When asked by a Twitter user who his Man of The Match was, the controversial legend went ahead to state how the aforementioned 4 could have beaten McGregor to the prize.
The Scottish giants put in a display that their Russian counterparts couldn’t match, and it won’t come as a surprise if they repeat the performance in next week’s return leg.
Advancing to the round of 16 will come to a huge boost to Celtic, and having proved their worth against Zenit, there will be growing belief that they can go far in the competition.
