Football pundit Stuart Pearce has said that Tottenham’s 4-1 Premier League victory over Liverpool at Wembley Stadium on Sunday means that the title race is now a three way race.

The win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side combined with Manchester United’s shock defeat to Huddersfield means that Spurs are now level on points with second placed United.

The duo are five points adrift of first placed Manchester City who have 25 points from nine games.  Spurs are currently a side playing full of confidence and they face a potentially season defining fixture on Saturday as they play against Manchester United in a League encounter.

The match promises to be a mouth-watering encounter and both sides will have to be on top of their game if they want to get something from the match.

Pearce believes that the League is now a three way race and said: “I think from a two-horse race it has become a three-horse race now, I really do. Tottenham look like the unstoppable side. The only thing that will curtail that is the odd injury somewhere.”
