Trevor Francis has said that Liverpool made it easy for Harry Kane during their Premier League encounter against Spurs on Sunday as the 24 year old Kane went on to score a brace to help his side to a 4-1 victory.
The brace from Kane was complimented with goals from Heung-Son Min and Dele Alli to complete the rout for Spurs. Francis is an admirer of Kane who has managed to establish himself as one of the world’s best strikers.
However he does also feel that Jurgen Klopp’s men made it easy for him. The Reds defense has after all been subjected to its fair share of criticism this season.
Francis said on beIN sports as reported by Inside Futbol: “What I will say is that Harry Kane won’t be playing against Liverpool’s back four every week.
“Thinking about Klopp and his approach to the game, I think there are one or two managers who simply cannot think about playing any other way, Arsene Wenger, he couldn’t go away and look for a 0-0, nor could Pep Guardiola.”
