Leeds United midfielder admits that he has been left unhappy

Leeds United midfielder Ronaldo Vieira has admitted that he is unhappy after being denied first team opportunities at the club this season but was happy to be reintroduced this weekend.

Vieira was handed his first League start for the Whites during their game against Bristol City on Saturday and he churned out a brilliant display as his side eventually won the game 3-0.

Leeds scored through a double from Samu Saiz as well as another strike from Pierre-Michel Lasogga. It was Vieira however who earned the most praise after managing to successfully re-integrate himself into the first team.

Following the game, he said: “Obviously I was a bit frustrated, and that’s normal when you’re not playing. But I’m happy to be back out there.

“I’ve no idea [if I’ll stay in the team]. I want to play every game, but it’s just whatever – it depends on who we are playing and whether we’ll be on the ball more. It depends on the gaffer’s tactics, and I thought they were brilliant today.”
