West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has said that he is “not worried” but at the same time, “realistic” about his future as West Ham manager following the club’s 3-0 loss against newly promoted Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday.
The result means that the Hammers have slipped into 17th position on the standings with eight points from nine games and they could be in the relegation zone by the end of the weekend if Leicester manage to defeat Swansea.
The Seagulls took the lead after ten minutes when Glenn Murray managed to score by heading in a free-kick from Pascal Gross.
Jose Izquierdo scored the second during second half stoppage time an Murray added the third from the penalty spot during the 75th minute.
Despite the poor run though, Bilic said: “The speculation was here before. I’m manager of the team. I don’t want to hide behind anything. It’s my responsibility and it’s up to the board.”
