Liverpool star Emre Can has admitted that it is “an honour” to be linked with Italian giants Juventus.
The German’s current contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season and as he has yet to renew his ties with the club, he will be free to speak to other teams in January.
There is no doubt that Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that Can renews his contract as he is a key part of the Reds first team.
Despite the manager being calm over the situation, Can has admitted that he is unsure about his future and based on the way that things are going, it does look like he will end up leaving.
“It’s always an honour to receive an offer from such a renowned club, but currently I am only focused on the season with Liverpool,” Can told Kicker as reported by The Independent. “My agent takes care of the rest.
“The Premier League is just a really cool league, the most interesting in the world, but you must respect other big clubs and leagues. You never know what will happen. And I don’t know what Jurgen Klopp plans.”
