Liverpool attacker explains why he has improved since leaving Anfield

Divock Origi has stated that his game has improved since joining Wolfsburg from Liverpool on loan and added that he is playing from playing alongside Mario Gomez.

He said, “He’s the captain. Even in training you can see his importance. I can learn a lot from him. Mario is top in the box, and to be honest I also like to play up front.

“But my quality also is to come from a deeper position. I can play on the wings, and get drawn to the goal from there.”

After falling down the pecking order at the Reds last season, Origi was sent on loan to Wolfsburg in order to play more regularly and regain confidence in his ability.

He is reportedly hoping to use his time in Germany in order to try and regain confidence in order to challenge for a place in the Liverpool first team next season.

Origi is a quality player and if he can regain his confidence, he could be a valuable member of the club going forward.
