Alan McInally explains why Tottenham are harder to beat than Manchester United

Sky Sport pundit Alan McInally has said that Tottenham are a harder team to beat than Manchester United. Liverpool were frustrated during the weekend when United managed to hold them to a draw at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s men also claimed a morale boosting 7-0 Champions League victory over Maribor on Tuesday.  Despite this, McInally cannot see them taking any point when they play against Tottenham during the weekend at the Wembley Stadium.

Tottenham are also on a good run of form and claimed a hard-fought 1-1 draw against defending European champions Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.

McInally said: “This will be their sternest test (of the season so far). I know they were a little disappointed they didn’t edge out Manchester United at the weekend.

“I did the game for Sky, 0-0, and it was an okay 0-0. But I think at the weekend it will be even more of a challenge for Liverpool. But they are playing a team in Spurs that are quite simply looking as good as they’ve ever done under Pochettino.

“It will be a good game at the weekend. Fingers crossed for Liverpool fans that they take this 7-0 into the weekend and maybe get a couple of goals. But I can only see a Tottenham win.”
