Football pundit Emile Heskey has said that Aston Villa youngster Keinan David needs to follow three rules if he wishes to be a success. Those are that he should accept the advice that he receives, play with a smile on his face and stay grounded.
The 19 year old Davis has managed to establish himself within the Villa first team this season and has so far scored twice from nine games. His performances have also reportedly led to interest from Premier League clubs including Arsenal.
Davis will continue to get better with time and considering that he is already showing good signs, he could develop into a quality player during the coming years.
Heskey said: “I’d tell Keinan to enjoy it! My advice would be soak it all up and take in all the advice you get. “He needs to enjoy his football. The sport, especially nowadays, you can take it too seriously.
“When I say that, I mean enjoy it as much as you can as well as seeing it as your job. It was fun for me. I loved it. I played with a smile on my face.
“It’s also important to keep your feet on the ground and have the right people around you. My parents were great for that. I wasn’t allowed to do certain things. I had a good network around me. I have the same friends now that I had when I was young. “My advice would be ‘this is your career, not someone else’s, so look after it’.”
