Slaven Bilic reportedly ready to allow talented player to leave West Ham

According to a report published in The Sun, West Ham manager Slaven Bilic could be open to selling youngster Reece Oxford during the January transfer window.

Oxford broke into the Hammers first team during the 2015-16 season and managed to impress during his debut which came in a 2-0 away win against Arsenal.

Though he is a natural centre-half, he is versatile and can also operate as a defensive midfielder. However Oxford struggled to receive first team opportunities last season and was used mainly for the clubs under-23 side.

Oxford is currently on loan with German club Borussia Monchengladbach where he is struggling to impress and he will likely return to the Hammers in January.  Oxford has been tipped to have a bright future and has been compared to Rio Ferdinand.

However Bilic is reportedly willing to part company with him in January should a promising offer come along.
