Klopp reportedly set to prevent promising Liverpool player from leaving this January

Liverpool haven’t been the most ruthless team in front of goal this term despite boasting of a star-studded attack.

The Reds have found the back of the net 13 times in 8 league games, and manager Jurgen Klopp isn’t willing to lose any of his strikers come January.

As per The Sun, the German boss will block any loan move for 17-year-old striker Rhian Brewster, as he wants the England youth international to continue his growth at Anfield.

Brewster is currently in India with the Lions Cubs in the ongoing under-17 World Cup, and his performances, including a 35-yard freekick goal, have seen few clubs eyeing a loan deal.

Despite still looking forward to his first-team bow, the teenager was included in Liverpool’s Champions League squad, and is hopeful of making his debut this term.

The F.A Cup could provide Brewster with that opportunity, although, that isn’t a given considering the depth in attack available in the senior team.

Regardless of whether he has a chance or not, the former Chelsea academy kid won’t likely be leaving in January.

Brewster has continually proven his talent with the U23s since scoring on his debut in a Premier League Cup game in January, and should he keep impressing, he could be challenging for senior playing minutes next term.
