Everton make contact with Liverpool over shock move

According to reports, Everton are one of the club that has made contact with Liverpool striker Danny Ings.

Ings has had his time at the Reds blighted by injuries has he has been reduced to just 12 appearances and three goals since joining the club from Burnley in 2015.

He does not appear to be part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans for this season and the Merseyside club may well look to offload him in January.

Everton are in desperate need of a striker at this point considering their struggles in front of goals so far this season.

Though Ings is a talented player, he has not scored goals in a while due to his injury problem and this makes him an option which is not ideal.

Everton need to rather go for a striker who is not injury prone and who can make an immediate impact. Southampton, Watford, Crystal Palace and Newcastle are also understood to be interested in the 25 year old.
