Burnley manager Sean Dyche has said that West Ham star Andy Carroll deserved to be red carded during his sides 1-1 draw with the Hammers on Saturday.
Michail Antonio opened the scoring West Ham during the first half. Slaven Bilic’s side were however forced to play for 63 minutes with ten men after Carroll’s red-card following two first half yellow cards.
Burnley eventually managed to find an equalizer in the 85th minute through Chris Wood though they will be disappointed that they failed to pull off a victory considering that they had a man advantage for majority of the game.
Following the game, Dyche revealed that he felt that Carroll’s red-card was fully deserved, saying: “It’s a definite sending off just because it’s the laws of the game.
“I’m not bothered about players putting themselves about, I quite like it. I think the game is missing that, actually. But it is a definite sending off.”
