West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has said that his Burnley counterpart Sean Dyche is capable enough to manage the England national team.
The Clarets have so far exceeded expectations this season as they currently sit in 6th position on the Premier League standings after taking 12 points from their opening several games of the season despite having lost two of their main players from last season, namely Andre Gray and Michael Keane.
In the process, they have claimed impressive victories against Everton and Chelsea as well as draws against Tottenham and Liverpool. They have thus far been one of the surprise packages in the English top flight this season.
When talking about whether Dyche could one day manage the Three Lions, Bilic said, “Why not, definitely. It is always good for the national team to have a domestic manager. It is not a club – you have to understand the whole nation and the culture, the history, the legacy, the expectations.
“He is definitely one of them that has it. He is young, he looks strong and he’s got that voice! I’m joking, but he is doing a really good job.”
