The last international break couldn’t have come at a better time for West Ham manager Slaven Bilic.
The Croatian needed time away from Premier League activities in order to go back to the drawing board, and it has been revealed it was exactly what he did.
As per revered freelance injury data analyst Ben Dinnery, the Hammers boss worked on the fitness of some of his players on the treatment table, with the quartet of Lanzini, Antonio, Fernandes and Carroll all having their sharpness levels improved as a result.

The London Stadium outfit haven’t been at the top of their game since the start of last season, with injuries frequently ravaging the squad.
Until now, West Ham haven’t enjoyed such level of squad depth as far as a clean health bill goes.
Only centre-back James Collins remains unavailable for selection for weekend’s visit to Burnley.
Should the major first team players manage to remain in contention for the rest of the campaign, it would prove to be a huge boost to the Hammers’ top 10 ambitions.
