According to reports, West Ham are set to face competition from Galatasary in the race to sign Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah.
The 28 year old’s current contract with the Old Lady of Italian football expires at the end of the season and so far there has been no indication that he will renew ties with the club.
Asamoah will be allowed to enter talks with other clubs during the January transfer window and he will also then be allowed to sign a pre-contract agreement.
During an interview with TalkSport, Galatasary president Dursun Ozbek confirmed that his club are indeed interested in signing the Ghana international when he said, “In the end Juventus didn’t want to let him go.
“We already had an agreement with Asamoah, and we’ll repeat our offer during the winter transfer window”.
Should West Ham however make their interest known, they could have an advantage as the player may favor a stint in the Premier League.
