According to reports, Celtic have stepped up their interest in Swansea target Lewis Morgan.
The 21 year old Morgan is currently on the books of St Mirren and is a Scotland under 21 international.
Celtic were reported to have sent scouts to watch the youngster in action during the Scotland under 21 national team’s game against England at the Riverside Stadium on Friday and Swansea also had two other players featuring in the game, namely Tammy Abraham and Oli McBurnie.
Morgan has started the season impressively and already has eight goals in all competitions this season.
He was also impressive last season during which he went on to score ten goals in all competitions.
Considering that the player has just 12 months remaining on his current contract and has generated interest from other clubs, he will likely leave the Buddies on a free transfer at the end of the season.
