Everton players feel that Koeman wants out from Goodison Park

According to a report published by The Sun, there are players within the Everton squad who feel that manager Ronald Koeman wants to quit the club.

Despite having spent heavily on bolstering their side during the transfer window, the Toffees have been performing poorly so far this season and have only taken several points from their opening seven fixtures. They are currently just two points above the relegation zone.

The report added that the Dutchman Koeman “is just waiting to be fired by chairman Bill Kenwright and owner Farhad Moshiri”.

One of the leading reasons why Everton are in the state that they are in is because they failed to find an experienced goal scorer following the departure of Romelu Lukaku. Though they did sign Sandro Ramirez, he has yet to adapt to English football.

Koeman did however do an impressive job at the helm of the Toffees last season as he guided the club to a seventh place finish.
