England international attacker targeted by Everton

According to reports, West Ham striker Andy Carroll has emerged as a potential target of Everton.

The Toffees have been without a tried and tested striker in the Premier League since Romelu Lukaku left the club to join Manchester United during the summer.

The Toffees have taken just several points from their several Premier League games thus far and they will be sure to bolster their side during the January transfer window.

Carroll is reportedly valued at around £20 million by the Hammers which means that he will definitely be affordable.

He also has just 18 months remaining on his current deal which means that the Hammers could be open to selling the player

Carroll is a proven goal scorer in the Premier League and he would definitely be positive influence to the Toffees attack.

However he does have injury problems which have hampered his progress as a player and this is something which Everton will need to consider.
