According to reports, West Ham youngster Reece Oxford will cut short his loan spell with German club Borussia Monchengladbach and return to the East London side in December.
The 18-year-old Oxford was sent to Monchengladbach during the summer on a season long loan deal in order to gain more first team experience.
So far the England under 20 international had been less than impressive as he has yet to make a first team appearance and was on the bench for the past six League games.
Both the player and the clubs are now keen to terminate the deal and it is very likely that Oxford will be returning to England in January.
This will definitely be disappointing for the player and he would have hoped to churn out performances which would convince the Hammers hierarchy to include him as part of their future first team plans.
