Tottenham are interested in signing Everton midfielder Ademola Lookman this January, according to the Daily Mirror.
Lookman joined Everton from Charlton in the summer of last season and has shown glimpses of immense potential during his time at Goodison Park so far.
The 19-year-old made a mark for his new club immediately during his debut, where he scored the second goal in Everton’s 4-0 stunning victory over Manchester City last season.
Since the exploits though, the promising winger has made only eight more appearances in the league for Everton despite showing flashes of his wonderful tricky feet and blistering pace during his time on the pitch.
The England U-20 international was expected to make it into the first team of Everton this season due to the growth he has shown, however things have not gone as per the plans for the youngster.
Lookman has clearly been deprived of game-time at Goodison Park and now he might be tempted to move away from Merseyside to sign for Tottenham, who are reportedly keen on landing the teenage sensation in January.
The North London side boast a very good track record of promoting youth players and giving them opportunities in the first team, and Lookman would surely be open to joining the Mauricio Pochettino revolution at Spurs as a result.
