Celtic star Jozo Simunovic has said that his side will show no fear when they take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
After losing 5-0 to PSG in the Champions League two weeks ago, the Hoops kick-started their campaign by claiming a morale boosting 3-0 victory over Anderlecht on Wednesday.
Simunovic formed a strong defensive partnership with Dedryck Boyata during the game to help lead Brendan Rodgers side to a well-earned first away win in the Champions League for five years.
Following the game, Simunovic said, “We don’t need to be afraid of anybody. We respect every team – but we don’t need to be afraid.”
Bayern appear to be low on confidence and fired manager Carlo Ancelotti after falling to a 3-0 defeat against PSG on Wednesday. The Hoops will look to exploit their weaknesses when they face off against them next month.
