West Ham could be set to receive some good news as it has been reported that the injury of star midfielder Michel Antonio is not as bad as initially thought.
The 27-year-old Antonio was forced to leave the field during his sides 3-2 defeat against Tottenham during the weekend after picking up an apparent groin injury.
Many Hammers fans were worried following the injury to Antonio as he is a key player for the team having won the club’s player of the year award last season.
To allay the fears, West Ham source Claret and Hugh have reported that the injury is not as bad as first thought and that Antonio could be set to return to action straight after the international break.
The Hammers are struggling in the Premier League having taken just four points from their opening six matches.
They will need to perform at their best and will need to get the most out of Antonio if they want to have a good season.
