According to reports, West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has informed striker Javier Hernandez that he will need to sacrifice himself when paired with Andy Carroll up front.
It appears to be difficult to get the best out of both of the strikers when they are paired together. The Mexican international Hernandez is being utilized towards the left since Carroll returned from his injury layoff.
Hernandez has so far notched two goals in the Premier League this season while Carroll has yet to get off the mark.
Both players will need to be on song during the upcoming games as the Hammers look to rebuild following a rather disappointing start to the season.
Whilst talking about the situation which he faces with his strikers, Bilic said, “I spoke with him and also when you watch him play he is still close to goal.
“Javier is a great player and I explained it to him that sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself for the team.”
