Leicester City handed huge boost ahead of Liverpool clash

According to reports, Leicester star Jamie Vardy is set to return to action for his club ahead of their game against Liverpool on Saturday night.

This will be a major boost to the Foxes as Vardy is one of their best players and still is one of the most clinical strikers in the Premier League when on song.

The 30-year-old Vardy was unable to train following a groin injury which he suffered against Huddersfield last weekend.

He missed his side’s Carabao Cup victory over the Reds this week though he did manage to do some training on Friday.

Whilst speaking about Vardy, Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare said, “We had to take it easy with Jamie the first part of the week but he trained this morning. Hopefully, there will be no reaction. We will see in the morning. He is okay.”
