Everton manager Ronald Koeman has said that youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a top talent as compared to other players of his age.
The 20-year-old scored a brace for the Toffees during their 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Sunderland on Wednesday.
Though the youngster was a starter during the first game of the season, he was demoted to the bench during the club’s last three games.
His latest performance could however lead to a recall to the starting lineup for the upcoming game against Bournemouth.
Considering that Calvert-Lewin is already earning regular first team football at his age, there is a good chance that he will be a potential breakout superstar of this season.
Whilst discussing the player, Koeman said, “Compared to strikers of his age, he is a big talent. He’s strong. He’s fast. He can be more clinical. He listens and is willing to learn. (There are) a lot of possibilities with him in the team.”
