West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that he faces a selection dilemma ahead of his team’s against Tottenham after many of his players performed well during their Carabao Cup encounter against Bolton on Tuesday which they won 3-0.
The Hammers who made 10 changes to their side during the game against Bolton, won the match through goals from Angelo Ogbonna, Diafra Sakho and Arthur Masuaku.
Bilic knows that he faces a tough test when his side faces off against Spurs who are arguably one of the best sides in the Premier League.
Whilst talking about his selection situation ahead of the game against Spurs, Bilic said, “I said to the players before the game; ‘every one of you who thinks he deserves to be playing ahead of the guy who is playing, impress me and my staff – give us a headache with your performance’
“We are more positive after this performance from some of the players, we have more to choose from. It’s very good and we’re going to need it on Saturday, definitely.”
West Ham have endured a disappointing start to the Premier League season and currently occupy 17th position on the standings.
