Leeds demonstrated squad depth against Burnley, with 2nd choice goalie Andy Lonergan putting up a performance that no doubt puts Felix Wiedwald on his toes.
The defence also boasts of highly-rated goalkeeping pair Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Will Huffer, and it seems the under-23’s could yet add another player in that position.
As per Jakub Bokiej, a Manchester City Academy Scout & Leeds United Academy Scout, ex-Feyenoord and Rotterdam shotstopper Kamil Miazek is currently on trial with Leeds United U23 and first team.
Miazek is currently without a club after leaving Polish side Chojniczanka Chojnice, and he once held trials with Barnsley, but Leeds United are looking to pip them to his signature should he impress.
A lot of youth team players were brought in during the last transfer window, but a goalie wasn’t among.
In Miazek, the Whites could further strengthen their youth side for the future, and he could provide stiffer competition for Peacock-Farrell.
