West Ham handed multiple injury boosts ahead of Tottenham clash

After a disappointing start to the new Premier League campaign saw West Ham lose their first 3 games, the Hammers have managed to turn the tide, and since picked up 4 points from their last 2 games.

They host Tottenham at the weekend, and manager Slaven Bilic has been handed a boost, with a couple of his injured players nearing full fitness.

There were initial fears that defender James Collins, who was forced off 13 minutes into the second half against West Brom due to an ankle injury, was set to spend a lengthy period on the sidelines.

However, latest scan suggests the Wales international is likely to be back in action within two to three weeks.

Skipper Mark Noble has fully recovered from a minor knee problem and could see action against Bolton in Tuesday’s EFL Cup, while Edimilson Fernandes, who suffered an ankle sprain during the last international break, is few days away from resuming full training.

Disappointingly, Argentine forward Manuel Lanzini won’t be available for selection until after the next international break, although he’s currently training individually since aggravating a knee injury during the clash with Newcastle.
