Everton manager Ronald Koeman has admitted that his club are in a crisis as they slipped to their third successive Premier League defeat following a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United on Sunday.
The Toffees are now in the bottom three and the pressure will be on Koeman to change the clubs fortunes around soon.
The Merseyside club spent around £140 million on new players during the summer and due to this, many people had high expectations of them, with some even claiming that they could finish in the top four this season.
Koeman now faces a tough task and he will need to improve the confidence of his men so that they can turn their performances around.
He also admitted himself that he faces a tough task and said, “You can support players and give them confidence, but still we started this game afraid. Maybe that’s normal with the start to the season we’ve had.
“When we looked at the fixtures, we knew we wouldn’t win them all. Now we have four games at home in different competitions and we need to win.”
