As per The Sun, Tottenham are keen on Werder Bremen midfielder Thomas Delaney, and are planning on bringing him to the White Hart Lane next summer.

The Denmark international is said to be worth £13.5million at the moment, but could see his value skyrocket in the coming months due to his explosive performances.

Everton are also keeping tabs on the 26-year-old, and could make a move too as the squad rebuilding project at the Goodison Park continues next summer.

Burnley are also linked with Delaney, with Clarets boss Sean Dyche a big admirer of the playmaking Dane.

However, the former Copenhagen man prefers to move to a bigger side should he decide to call time on his Bremen stay.

Spurs chief Mauricio Pochettino is envious of how Delaney and Christian Eriksen combines well on international duty, and is hoping he could have that magic recreated at north London, hence the plan to unite them on club level.

While he has similar playing style to Eriksen, Delaney is the more prolific of the duo.

He has scored five goals in his last three matches for club and country, and has been on an impressive form in the final third since arriving the Bundesliga in January.

The exciting midfielder can without a doubt help add further gloss to a Spurs midfield that already could pass as the best in England, and landing him could be worth it in the end.
