As per South London Press and Mercury, Liverpool have registered interest in exciting Crystal Palace teenage sensation Joseph Hungbo.
The 17-year-old can play on the wings or in behind a striker, and has already attracted England’s scouts to the Eagles’ under-18 games.
The highly-rated youngster achieved some degree of fame in English youth football back in 2015, when he scored on his Under-18 debut with a match-winning volley, and has steadily grown in leaps and bound since.
Liverpool are keen on recruiting and grooming the best young talents around for their future team, recently acquiring Dominic Solanke from Chelsea.
Hungbo, who also featured regularly for Palace’s under-23 side last season fits the bill, with his eye for goal and explosive pace highlighting his potential.
While they remain a selling club, it remains to be seen if the Selhurst Park outfit would be keen on letting go of one their best young assets.
Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp has often blended youth with experience occasionally, and the temptation to have a chance to play at one of the biggest clubs in the land could convince Hungbo into agreeing a move should Liverpool come calling.
