Ross McCormack could still leave Aston Villa in shock move

According to a report published by the Daily Mail, Ross McCormack could be set to be offered a way out of Aston Villa.

The Scottish international appears to be currently surplus to requirements at Villa after a fallout with manager Steve Bruce. Bruce feels that the player is not doing enough to warrant a place in the first team.

The Daily Mail have now stated that Turkish club Fenerbahce are exploring the possibility of signing McCormack as their main striker Robin van Persie is currently out of action through injury.

In addition to McCormack, the Turkish club are also reportedly interested in OumarNiasse of Everton and Luciano Vietto of Atletico Madrid.

The bad relationship between McCormack and Bruce appears to have continued since last season’s infamous Gate-gate scandal. This involved Bruce revealing that McCormack told him that he could not make it to training one day as the electric gates at his home were broken.
