Snodgrass explains what Aston Villa have to do to earn promotion

Aston Villa midfielder Robert Snodgrass believes that his club will have to be “together as one” if they want to launch a promotion push this season.

Snodgrass recently joined the Villains on loan from West Ham following a disappointing eight month spell with the Hammers.

Despite being touted as one of the pre-season favorites to win the Championship this season, Steve Bruce’s side have begun the campaign on a disappointing note, having taken five points from their opening five games.

Bruce and Snodgrass know each other well, having worked together at Hull City and there is no doubt that the Villa manager Bruce will be hoping that the 29-year-old Snodgrass can help to rejuvenate his side this season.

Whilst talking about how his new side can progress, the Scotland international Snodgrass said, “Team work is absolutely key. It goes without saying that you need those individual bits of quality.

“But you need everybody to be together – the fans, the club, the players. The manager has already spoken about that and it’s something he believes in too.”
