According to reports, Crystal Palace have submitted a £10 million offer for unsettled West Ham striker Diafra Sakho.
It is understood that the 27-year-old Sakho was closing in on joining French club Rennes for £9 million though the Hammers did not sanction a sale.
Sakho has fallen down the pecking order at the East London club this season following the arrivals of Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic.
After joined West Ham in 2014 from Metz, he went on to score 12 goals in all competitions for the club in his debut campaign.
However the Senegal international’s time at London has been hampered by injuries and he has been restricted to just 54 appearances for the club in three years. He was restricted to just four appearances last season and scored one goal.
The absences of Andy Carroll and Sakho for large parts of last term through injury is viewed as a reason as to why Slaven Bilic’s men endured a disappointing season last year and ended up finishing in 11th position in the Premiership.
