According to reports, Swansea have joined the fight to sign Liverpool target Renato Sanches as they aim to find a replacement for Gylfi Sigurdsson, who joined Everton this summer.
After emerging as a breakout superstar during Euro 2016, Sanches earned himself a move to Bayern Munich last summer.
However he failed to establish himself at the German giants who are said to be open to offloading him this summer. Swans boss Paul Clement has some money to spend after having gained £45 million from the sale of Sigurdsson to the Toffees.
Clement is close to Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti as well and will hope that the Italian will help him land Sanches ahead of Liverpool.
As Sigurdsson played a key role in helping the Welsh outfit avoid relegation last season, Clement will know that he will have to add one or two quality players to his side or stand the risk of another relegation dogfight.
Part of the cash will likely be used to re-sign Wi;fred Bony however Sanches will also be a good coup. For the youngster, a move to the Swans could also be an opportunity for him to start playing regularly again and regain confidence.
