Liverpool reportedly come up with clever plan to sign Thomas Lemar

According to reports, Liverpool could use Divock Origi has part of their deal to try and sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco.

The Reds are hoping to secure the services of Lemar before the Thursday transfer deadline. Though Monaco are insisting that the player is not for sale, they could find a big offer from the Merseyside club too good to resist.

The Reds have thus far made two bids for the 21-year-old Lemar, the latest of which was worth £64.6 million.

JurgenKlopp’ss ide have made Origi available and Monaco are one of the clubs that are interested in the Belgian.

The reigning French Champions are currently in need of a striker after letting Kylian Mbappe go on loan to PSG this season ahead of a £166 million permanent transfer that will take place next summer.

At this stage, Monaco will be the favorites to sign Origi considering Liverpool are interested in Lemar.
