Liverpool reportedly agree a major transfer for 22-year-old

According to reports, Liverpool have agreed a deal with RB Leipzig to sign Naby Keita in 2018.

Keita was impressive last season as he played a big role in helping Leipzig claim a shock second place finish in the German Bundesliga and qualify for the Champions League.

The Reds had been looking to sign the Guinea international this summer though Leipzig were hesitant to sell ahead of their first ever foray into the Champions League this season.

It now appears that the 22-year-old has been signed by the Merseyside club ahead of the 2018-19 season and that he will undergo a medical with the club on Monday.

The deal will reportedly be worth £48 million and will surpass Liverpool’s transfer record.

Keita is an exciting young talent who Liverpool fans can look forward to watching in action next season. He will likely be used in the first team straight away.
