According to reports, Liverpool are looking to take Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches on loan.
Sanches impressed during Euro 2016 as he helped guide Portugal to glory and as a result of his performances earned himself a move to Bayern.
However he struggled to force his way into Carlo Ancelotti’s plans last season and the German giants are now prepared to let him go.
The 20-year-old was also underwhelming in terms of the rare performances he was handed for the Bundesliga club last season and did not find the back of the net from 29 competitive outings.
Liverpool may need to strengthen their midfield especially given that Philippe Coutinho’s future remains uncertain while Adam Lallana is set to be sidelined until October.
Sanches is a quality player when on song and Jurgen Klopp could just be the manager who himself him rejuvenate his career. If Liverpool land him, it will be a good coup.
