West Ham defender Pablo Zabaleta has revealed that he is hoping to experience victory when his side takes on Newcastle United at St. James Park on Saturday.
The Hammers have started the season on a bad note following successive defeats against Manchester United and Southampton.
They now have the perfect opportunity to gain points this weekend as their opponents Newcastle United are also on a poor run of form, having failed to pick a point on the table so far.
Zabaleta, who has good record against Newcastle, having won nine out of ten games he played against them while on the books of Manchester City will be hoping to extend his good record and has said ahead of the game, “It’s a tough place to go but it’s a crucial game for us and for them, as both teams lost their opening two games of the season.
“We are looking for our first Premier League win of the season. It’s a shame that we lost the last game at the end, but there were a lot of positive things to take from Southampton, especially our attitude and the spirit of the team.”
