Everton emerge one of the favorites to land World Cup-winning striker with 139-league goals

According to BETVictor, Everton are amongst one of the teams most likely to sign Swansea striker Fernando Llorente, with the popular bookmarker giving the Toffees an 8/1 odds of landing the powerful Spaniard.

Blues manager Ronald Koeman is keen on a striker with a huge presence upfront, and the 6ft 4 in Llorente, 32, ticks the boxes. He is a huge threat in the air, and can hold his own against any defence in the world.

So, it’s least surprising that Chelsea’s boss Antonio Conte desires to reunite with his former Juventus charge as he hopes to replace Diego Costa.

Last term, Llorente bagged 15 league goals for the Welsh side in 3 league games.

Everton know they must replace the goals of Romelu Lukaku if they are to have any chance of doing well on all fronts this term.

The Belgian’s replacement might have all along been in the former Athletic Bilbao and Sevilla man, who has 139 league goals in 417 games across a striking career that has spanned over a decade.

The 24-capped Spain international and World Cup winner brings a lot of experience and handful of goals to the table.

Llorente would hit the ground running at the Goodison Park if signed, but it’s not very likely that Swansea would love to do business with Everton again having just lost Gylfi Sigurdsson.
